Position Summary:

As a collaborative member of the Division of Community Services and Health Sciences team, the incumbent will provide operational and administrative assistance to Manager, Student Success to support operational needs of the Student Success Program.

Major functions include assisting with the creation and maintenance of Student Success Program delivery platforms, assisting with the completion of human resource paperwork, assisting with compiling information for budget, business plan and other reports, and assist in implementing Student Success Program projects including special events, process improvement, and implementation of new systems (AI, Course Outline, etc.).


Key responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative assistance to the Manager of Student Success.
  • Assists in the completion of human resource paperwork.
  • Assists with creation and maintenance of Student Success Program Community Hubs.
  • Gathers various program data to create spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.
  • Assists with event organization and delivery.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Two-year diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in Office Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience in an educational context is an asset.

  • Ability to gather data and create reports.
  • Demonstrated strengths in organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated communication, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal skills at a professional level.

Interview process may consist of a practical skills component.
