Qualification:
- Candidate must possess minimum BSc/BE degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from HEC approved university and registered as professional Engineer with PEC
Experience:
- The candidate must possess at least 20 years of experience in BPS-19/equivalent or above in power sector and must have:
- Firm grip on all latest WAPDA/NTDC specifications related to electrical equipment/material being procured by DISCOs/other agencies
- In-depth knowledge of up-to-date relevant standards like IEC, IEEE, ANSI and other applicable standards.
- Sufficient knowledge of manufacturing process of distribution transformers, energy meters, switchgears, cable/conductor, steel structures, PC spun poles and other hardware items.
- Ample technical and administrative knowledge and experience to ensure quality of electrical distribution equipment/material.
- Good knowledge of maintaining and upkeep of inspection records i.e. ICs, routine test, Type test and prototype testing.
- Adequate knowledge of finance, budgeting and revenue.
- High level of interpersonal skills to address the genuine grievances of manufactures without compromising quality.
- Masters in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, MBA & certificate in Quality Management will be an added qualificJoiation.
