Job Description: The Punjab Public Service Commission invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Stenographer (BS-15) on a regular basis in the Punjab Police Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcription: Transcribe dictated material in shorthand and type written copies.
- Data Management: Maintain records, files, and other documents.
- Assist Officers: Provide administrative support to departmental officers.
- Correspondence: Prepare and manage official correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum Intermediate (2nd Division) from a recognized board.
- Shorthand Speed: Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand.
- Typing Speed: Minimum speed of 40 words per minute in typing.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (relaxable in accordance with government rules)
